  • $94,415pa + 12% super + leave loading Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 5 of EBA5
  • 9 day fortnight
  • 72.5-hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Caboolture

About our opportunity

As a Development Audit Officer and team member of the Development Services department, you will provide routine technical advice and undertake the audit of the conditions of development approvals and recovery of infrastructure charges in accordance with legislative, policy and business requirements to meet the needs of the community within the City of Moreton Bay area. Additionally, you will:

  • undertake the audit of Infrastructure Agreements to ensure compliance with development requirements
  • undertake site inspections and investigations to support the audit of development approvals including resolution of issues
  • research and prepare planning and development certificates
  • engage proactively with key stakeholders
  • contribute to a positive team environment to achieve a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focused culture.

About you

You will have knowledge and experience in the audit of conditions of development approvals and recovery of infrastructure charges, with awareness of principles and practices relating to the planning, design and construction of transport, stormwater and public park infrastructure and landscaping works.

You will also have:

  • sound knowledge and application of Council’s Charges Resolution
  • understanding of principles and practices relating to land use planning and State Planning Policy, the SEQ Regional Plan and the Planning Scheme
  • ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
