Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to help lead some of our exciting and complex projects. Sitting at the heart of the project team, you will keep the focus and momentum going while enabling a team of skilled people to deliver value. As a Delivery Manager you will be a passionate facilitator, ensuring project success in terms of time, cost, quality.

You will work alongside enthusiastic, Product, Design and Technical teams who are not afraid to push boundaries and get out of their comfort zones.

We are looking for a passionate Delivery Manager who remains motivated throughout the duration of the project, and is able to reliably deliver work of an outstanding quality. Our Delivery Managers are personable, able to form genuine relationships with internal and external team members. Your role will be a balancing act – able to think strategically to support clients and their product roadmaps, while also enjoying geeking-out around a whiteboard with your talented, multidisciplinary project team to come up with unique and boundary-pushing solutions which delight customers and keep Riverr at the forefront of agency delivery.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• An adaptive and flexible approach to delivery management which is strengthened by experience delivering using various methodologies, including waterfall and agile
• Ideally you would have some experience working as a Scrum Master
• Encourage and enable collaboration throughout project teams
• Ability to own your clients and projects – being an oracle of knowledge for all key project information
• A thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, with the ability to hold your own in some technical conversations
• Experience of working with global team members, empowering international contributors by remaining mindful and respectful of cultural differences
• A pragmatic approach to the administrative side of project management, ensuring sufficient documentation which protects the project without it becoming overbearing

What you’ll do:

• Deliver product roadmaps for clients, with a focus on driving iterative delivery and long term partnership.
• Own the end-to-end delivery or interesting and complex digital projects, including budget management and management of all stakeholders.
• Work with internal teams to help define project scopes, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects.
• Be the go-to person for your client, creating partnerships founded on trust, quality, and reliability.
• Be the hub of communication for the project - in regular contact with internal and external team members engaged in delivering the project.
• Provide leadership and guidance to your project team, but also to your clients. Advise on the best strategy for them to suit their budgets and needs.
• Work closely with Client Partners to actively grow client accounts, identifying new opportunities to support client roadmaps and escalating where necessary.
• Organise and lead both internal and external meetings with a range of stakeholders of all seniority levels.
• Use various tools to plan, run, and track projects.
