The data scientist will be responsible for collecting and analyzing customer data from a portfolio of games, developing machine learning algorithms, and working closely with business stakeholders to provide clear insights into consumer behavior, formulate strategic recommendations, and create audience-focused tools. You will be the primary point of contact for marketing teams, translating their needs into analytical and scientific projects, and using machine learning methods to provide insights and support throughout the game lifecycle based on business requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Create, manage, and disseminate data and insights using analytics tools.
  • Analyze customer data to gather insights, generate knowledge, create value, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Lead the development of data science initiatives that leverage audiences, support business objectives, and enhance customer understanding.
  • Build and deploy machine learning models to predict player behavior.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholder teams: understand brand and marketing objectives and major initiatives; identify the most relevant methodology to meet needs; provide insights; help stakeholders leverage data science solutions.
  • Bring innovative ideas and best practices to improve data science methodologies within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with Lakehouse data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and make strategic, actionable recommendations.
  • Machine learning – knowledge of principles, technologies, and algorithms; ability to develop, implement, and deliver related systems, products, and services.
  • Proactiveness, critical thinking, and creativity in data.
  • Highly collaborative mindset with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
