Job Description

The Data Scientist will be responsible for collecting and analyzing customer data for a portfolio of games, developing machine learning algorithms, and working closely with business stakeholders to provide clear insights into consumer behavior, formulate strategic recommendations, and build audience-focused tools. You will be the main point of contact for marketing teams, translating their needs into analytical and scientific projects, and using machine learning methods to provide insights and support them throughout the game lifecycle across various business needs.

The "Audience Analytics" team works with business stakeholders such as CRM, Paid Media, AAA brand, Live brand and F2P teams located worldwide. Our goal is to support stakeholders and strategic decisions by providing analytical insights based on consumer data and giving a clear, granular view of our players at the game, brand, or cross-title level.

What you will do

  • Create, manage and distribute data and insights using analytics tools (SQL, Python).
  • Analyze customer data to gather knowledge, generate ideas, create value and support decision-making.
  • Lead the development of data science initiatives leveraging audiences, supporting business objectives and improving customer knowledge.
  • Design and deploy machine learning models to predict player behavior.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder teams; understand brand and marketing goals and key initiatives; identify the most relevant methodology to meet needs; provide analyses; guide stakeholders in using data science solutions.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and best practices to improve data science methodologies within the team.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the team

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience working with lakehouse-type platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and formulate actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Machine learning – knowledge of principles, technologies and algorithms of machine learning; ability to develop, implement and deliver related systems, products and services.
  • Proactivity, critical thinking and creativity with data.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
