Data Governance Audit Analyst

Purpose and Activities

We are looking for a motivated and data-passionate candidate with a degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, Data Science or Engineering to support our Audit team in activities related to Data Governance and Data Quality processes. This role will allow you to deepen topics related to data management in support of business decisions, applicable regulations and control processes, working in a dynamic, stimulating and highly professional environment, interacting with counterparts both nationally and internationally.

Main activities:

  • Support audit activities on Data Governance processes and, more generally, on processes with strategic relevance in the area of data
  • Implement statistical analysis techniques to evaluate the quality of complex datasets used in risk management and measurement
  • Investigate anomalies found during data analysis
  • Collect and review documentation related to processes, procedures and controls of Data Governance and Data Quality
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Audit team and for the involved functions

Experience required: 0-1 years of experience in the role

Required skills:

  • Good written and spoken English
  • Knowledge and application of statistical methodologies and data analysis tools such as data mining and machine learning
  • Knowledge of programming languages in particular: R, SQL, Python and SAS
  • Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team in dynamic and challenging contexts
  • Proactivity and willingness to learn
