Are you our new Data Engineer? 🚀

We are looking for a Data Engineer at Nmbrs. You will have a direct impact on the modernization of our Business Intelligence platform, transforming how companies gain insights from their payroll and HR data. You'll build robust data pipelines and scalable analytics solutions that drive decision-making across the organization.

In this role, you'll:
  • Design and implement modern data architecture leveraging Azure cloud services
  • Create efficient ETL processes to transform payroll and HR data
  • Develop and optimize data models for both data lake and data warehouse environments
  • Build and maintain SQL Server databases with a focus on performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Drive data quality initiatives across the platform

Job requirements

What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Experience in Payroll (is a plus)
  • Strong experience with SQL Server and T-SQL development
  • Proven track record designing and implementing ETL processes
  • Experience with Azure data components
  • Data modelling skills (dimensional modelling, data vault, lake house architecture is a plus)
  • Experience working with Power BI for data visualisation
  • Python programming skills for data processing and automation (is a plus)
  • Understanding of data security and governance best practices
