Purpose and Activities
We are looking for people with IT skills and specialization in data-related topics within the banking sector, who can manage complexity with confidence and a challenge-driven approach, fostering synergies and inclusion.
The sought profile, as a DATA ENGINEER, will design and develop application software and related data components, maximizing their quality and performance in compliance with defined technical and functional specifications, working closely with the project and functional team of the relevant application area, supporting them in choosing the best technological options to make application areas efficient and stable.
They will collaborate within the project team with those responsible for managing the project and functional aspects of the area, supporting them in choosing the best technological options and architectural solutions to make the application areas efficient and stable. They will participate in release phases respecting release scheduling and quality.
You will work within the Group Technology area of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, performing the following activities:
• Leading or participating in the management of data-driven transformation projects
• Designing and developing innovative software solutions in batch and near-real-time modes, on on-premise and cloud technological environments
• Ensuring consistency between developed solutions and corporate standards
• Ensuring consistency between developed solutions and corporate regulations, with particular reference to Cybersecurity, Privacy, Change Management and Data Management
• Coordinating the development of various projects
• Performing technical analysis activities
• Defining and controlling development guidelines
• Identifying strategic lines of evolution, designing and evolving applications within the Domain Data ecosystem
• Collaborating with the Project Manager to define project progress status, identify and address critical issues, and proactively identify and manage project risks
• Analyzing and assessing project risks to define mitigation actions
• Designing and implementing data governance and data quality controls in line with corporate guidelines
• Participating in the design, preparation and execution phases of technical and functional tests
• Participating in User Acceptance Test phases
• Managing relationships with other internal and external development team members
Required Experience
At least 1-3 years of experience in IT data projects of medium to high complexity is required, preferably in the banking, financial or credit sector.
Experience managing group dynamics typical of large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and geographically distributed work teams.
