THE JOB
We’re hiring for a Data Analyst for our Customer Success team who loves solving problems and telling stories using data.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Dig into our databases to explore trends, patterns, and unanswered questions for our users and customers
- A typical task in your day-to-day might be exploring the correlation between focused work time and output of Pull Requests or projects for specific users or across a segment of users to illustrate value to a customer
- Partner with the data science team to stay on top of our data management systems and new modeling — so that you can serve as the expert for the customer success team
- Serve on the front lines with our product users when they want to better understand their data
- Present executive-level insights to our customers and leadership
- Act as the “behind the scenes” customer success hero helping to solve data issues, keep the lights on, and resolve customer requests

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work Pacific time zone hours
- Education or background in a quantitative discipline
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience as a business analyst or data analyst
- Advanced or expert level SQL
- Fluency in common statistical analysis methods
- Experience digging deep into data to answer questions and track down the underlying root causes
- Effective storyteller; experience translating findings into compelling recommendations, polished deliverables, and actionable programs
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to audiences from staff to senior executive level
- Collaborative team player eager to roll up their sleeves at a small start-up
- Our tech stack: Tableau, AWS, Postgres, Python, custom-built Microservices
“NICE TO HAVES”
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
- Past experience working in B2B SaaS, tech, or management consulting
- Experience creating data visualizations to tell a story to customers and senior leaders
- Experience writing SAS, R or Python for data analytics
- Familiarity working in modern data warehouse architecture and processes
