Data Analyst

Position Description

The Data Analyst role primarily involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights about our products. Working with product and technical teams, you will help measure adoption and usage of Quality Foundation products to understand usage patterns and support the developer experience.

Specifically, you will analyze performance data (PAP, Telemetry), stability and quality data (Bloomberg), and data aimed at improving productivity and efficiency of production and engine developers (DocGPT, Square).

You will contribute year-round to the data collection strategy and also participate in discussions around Quality Foundation data infrastructure and setting up ETL processes.

This multidisciplinary position will allow you to have a global impact on the entire Data and Business process by directly influencing QF roadmaps with the performance indicators you define and track. This role is suited for profiles who want both technical and business impact.

What You Will Do:

• Synthesize, transform, and analyze product data from various sources.
• Communicate your analyses clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and translate them into concrete action plans.
• Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs), aligning them with overall objectives of productions, engines, partners, and QF product management.
• Implement regular reporting mechanisms to track KPIs and help decision-makers make informed choices.
• Continuously adjust and refine KPIs based on evolving usage and organizational needs.
• Deploy tools and systems to automate data collection and tracking.
• Conduct in-depth analyses and create Power BI dashboards, reports, and presentations to share results and contribute to data-driven storytelling.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to clarify and quantify the impact of initiatives on productions, engines, and partners.
• Work with Data experts to build a coherent strategy and develop your domain expertise.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

• Experience in a related field (business intelligence, statistics, mathematics, economics), ideally in an analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL and data exploration (Snowflake, MSSQL, Databricks, etc.).
• Expertise with BI visualization tools, primarily Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong autonomy and ability to drive projects forward quickly.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables).
• Ability to use data to guide strategic decisions.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and quick learning.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders, including presentations to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative spirit and proven cross-functional teamwork experience.
• Rigor, organization, and ease with technical documentation.

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of Spark, Python, and/or R.
• Experience in ETL processes.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering).
