Job description

Reporting to the VP Innovation and Technologies, the Cybersecurity Specialist will ensure compliance with our SOC 2 Type 2 certification and the implementation of high cybersecurity standards.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation, operation and evolution of security tools and systems, in particular SIEM solutions and centralized detection tools
  • Oversee cybersecurity tools integrated into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including vulnerability management, security reviews, static/dynamic analysis, etc.
  • Ensure proactive monitoring and continuous improvement of cybersecurity-related processes and procedures
  • Maintain and evolve our SOC 2 Type 2 certification
  • Manage security incidents, from detection to post-incident reviews
  • Implement and track security updates
  • Deploy and supervise internal security training
  • Promote a security-focused organizational culture
  • As a member of the IT team, you will be asked to perform other tasks related to the team’s mission.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • DEC or Bachelor's in computer science/software or equivalent; recognized cybersecurity certification (e.g., Google Cybersecurity Certificate or CompTIA Security+) is an asset
  • Strong rigor, organizational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in plain language
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • French: spoken and written
  • English: reading comprehension (technical documentation)
  • The position is in-person and based in Québec at our headquarters: 1015 Av. Wilfrid-Pelletier, Québec, QC G1W 4Y4, Canada
