What you will do

You will lead and manage our company’s financial operations, accounting, financial reporting, audits, tax, and compliance, while also providing insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close.
  • Manage preparation of timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Partner with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate audits with external auditors and manage audit readiness.
  • Implement and refine financial systems, tools, and processes to support business growth.
  • Build and manage accounting team and provide leadership, coaching, and development.
  • Monitor cash flow, support treasury functions, and advise on financial risk.
  • Support investor reporting and due diligence during fundraising and during M&A situations.
  • Provide comprehensive financial reporting.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement a financial accounting system.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA.
  • At least 14 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
  • Experience at a Big Four accounting firm preferred.
  • Extensive skills in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and related tools (i.e. Google Sheets).
  • Experience with financial systems and tools (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong personal initiative, leadership, and executive presence.

Salary

Salary range is based on national benchmark data of comparable roles, skills and experience level. Exact compensation will be based on individual skills and experience, and location which will be assessed during the interview process.

Salary Description

Salary range: $183,000 - $275,000 per year
