Summary:
Forbes Marketplace is seeking an experienced and talented Syndication Lead to join our dynamic Public Relations & Communications team, reporting to the Head of PR & Comms (North America).
Responsibilities:
- Syndication Partnership Management: Identify, establish, and manage strategic content syndication partnerships to expand the reach and visibility of Marketplace's content. Collaborate with external partners, negotiate agreements, and ensure the smooth execution of syndication initiatives.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business development opportunities related to content syndication. Evaluate potential partners, conduct market research, and develop strategies to drive readership and revenue growth through syndication partnerships.
- Content Optimization: Conduct thorough analysis and testing of content performance to identify areas for improvement. Optimize content formats, headlines, publishing time, and other relevant elements to enhance readership engagement and revenue generation.
- Revenue Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze revenue performance metrics related to syndicated content. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and implement strategies that maximize revenue potential.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including editorial, PR, production, and analytics, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of syndication efforts. Provide recommendations and insights to improve content creation, distribution, and monetization strategies.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to content syndication and revenue optimization. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance knowledge and apply new insights to drive results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Business, Marketing) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in content syndication and business development, preferably in a digital media or publishing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Demonstrated track record of optimizing content for increased readership and revenue.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with content management systems and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of the media landscape and an understanding of current industry trends.
