Position Description:

The mission of the local Content Creator Manager is to lead and implement the global publishing strategy for content creators throughout the Canadian region.

The Content Creator Manager will be a key ambassador for the company, both in recruiting new creators and in individual relationships with existing creators, in order to secure effective, engaging, and innovative content for Ubisoft’s game portfolio. The local Content Creator Manager also manages paid activations that support our marketing touchpoints before, during, and after launch, to achieve our shared audience and engagement goals.

They play a key role in the rollout and growth of the strategic Ubisoft Creators program, which aims to expand our pool of creators by providing them with more services and content: the role of the local Content Creator Manager is to promote the program and onboard new creators, encourage creators to participate in activations, and provide them with ongoing support. The local Content Creator Manager will also collaborate with local, regional, and central teams on activities and provide insights and best practices to enrich the Ubisoft Creator ecosystem.

By adopting a "player-centric" mindset and leveraging their knowledge of video games, entertainment, and pop culture, Content Creator Managers will drive awareness, engagement, and growth of Ubisoft’s player base.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage daily interactions with creators, acting as a spokesperson for assigned projects.
  • Promote creator initiatives that will improve acquisition, retention, and growth.
  • Research, evaluate, reach out to, and manage communication with a large number of content creators across all platforms.
  • Support the rollout of the Ubisoft Creators program: reviewing applications, local promotion, handling business requests, etc.
  • Support Ubisoft’s game portfolio titles by activating content creators across all platforms.
  • Help produce, edit, and present materials including presentations, Q&A documents, talking points, capture guidelines, and decks.
  • Coordinate distribution of b-roll packages, creator kits, and any other digital or physical assets associated with our creator campaigns.
  • Provide timely and informative reports on CC activities, coverage, opportunities, successes, and creator feedback.
  • Assist in planning and executing physical and digital capture events for live and upcoming titles.
  • Collaborate with internal and cross-functional stakeholders worldwide.

Your key performance indicators will include:

  • Global annual financial targets.
  • Achievement of local creator planning.
  • Delivering reports at agreed-upon frequency.
  • Personal annual financial targets.

Campaign metrics:

  • Audience per engagement point (CCV and watch hours).
  • Recruitment and retention for the Ubisoft Creators platform.
  • Creator retention and activity.
  • Audience engagement/sentiment.

QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Strong coordination skills, along with solid collaboration and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in creator relations and/or digital marketing.
  • Avid consumer of creator-generated content across all platforms.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian market and its specificities.
  • Persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify trends, opportunities, and relationships within the online gaming community and leverage them to drive innovation.
  • Ability to provide concise qualitative and quantitative reports.
