Purpose and Activities
Conducting specific analysis and accompanying recommendations in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
Major duties and responsibilities
- Participate actively to implement and maintain AML and Compliance Control Plan in an independent manner and taking into account the regulatory requirements, follow-up on recommendations, risk mapping and requests of executive bodies
- Review of documents and procedures in place to identify possible weaknesses or risk verifying the compliance of the business activities with applicable regulatory requirement (AML, GPDR, MIFID, MAR etc) in order to assess Compliance and AML risk and to report to Compliance & AML Manager
- Perform investigation on identified suspicious client and client's transactions, initial and on going due diligence on distributors/fund initiators and third parties in accordance with AML rules
- Handling of claims and complaints made by customers and/or reported by distributors
- Monitoring the compliance with conflict of interest identified and with Internal Code of Conduct
- Proposes new directives/procedures to enhance systems, methodologies and process simplification and to improve efficiency
- Works in coordination with the Parent Company Eurizon Capital SGR S.p.A
- Monitoring the implementation of recommendations and support, when required, business function in their implementation
- Assists the Compliance Manager in projects in which he/she is involved
- Ensure all employees are educated on the latest updated regulations and processes, also overseeing and implementing an ongoing training program for employees and board
Experience Required
At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in Compliance, audit or similar position.
Competencies and Skills Required
The successfull candidate has the following technical competencies:
- Master’s degree in legal, economics, finance, business administration or related field.
- Other certification would be an asset
- Strong Knowledge of UCITS and AIFM Regulation
- Strong Knowledge of European and Luxembourgish regulatory framework relevant to Fund Industry (GPDR, MIFID, MAR, MMF, etc)
- Good knowledge of computer-based tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Good knowledge of English and Italian, French is an option
