Position description: The Communities Team Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the international Communities group that works within an integrated team on an assigned portfolio of games. The Communities team is responsible for player engagement activities across community channels, including content creation, sentiment reporting, player reviews and feedback. This role involves supervising, shaping, and managing overall team performance and development.
What you will do:
- Oversee management and daily operations of the community team across an assigned games portfolio.
- Implement global strategies, best practices and initiatives to support the player community.
- Drive and improve content production practices, quality, KPIs and team objectives.
- Track and implement social media, content and engagement best practices, integrating key learnings into team standards and training.
- Promote and optimize player analytics strategies, feedback loop practices and relevant tools to guide decision-making with development, publishing and community teams.
- Coach and develop the team by assessing strengths and development needs, providing timely feedback and creating improvement and training plans.
- Manage reporting, schedules, staffing allocation and team resources to accomplish the mission.
- Participate in day-to-day supervision and review of community development work, community managers and community representatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner teams across community, support, publishing and studios.
- Make recommendations to leadership and senior management on progress and improvements.
- Create a collaborative environment driven by a shared passion for Ubisoft players.
Qualifications / What you will bring:
- Mid-level experience in a community management supervisory role, minimum.
- Personnel management experience with proven ability to lead diverse and distributed teams.
- Knowledge of social networks, live streaming and YouTube.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and the public.
- Practical problem-solving skills and ability to manage diverse variables when standardization is limited.
- Ability to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, schematic or schedule form.
- Fluency in French.
