Capture Manager

What you will do

You will help expand our business within the US government defense, security, and intelligence space by leading end-to-end pursuit efforts for high-value government opportunities, and overseeing and coordinating the US government contract, proposal, and bid process.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Clearspeed sales and partner teams to close business.
  • Recommend contract and proposal navigation paths to improve sales potential and reduce sales cycles.
  • Navigate government contracts, agreements, systems, and procedures.
  • Coordinate contract-related documents.
  • Develop pricing proposals, respond to procurement requirements, and complete all necessary documentation needed to advance opportunities.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships by partnering with our government prospects and clients and understanding their needs.
  • Act as primary liaison with clients on project matters, including assisting with negotiations and contract acceptance.
  • Act as a strategic advisor; coordinate with internal and external team members on client goals and business objectives.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Who you are

We value team members who are innovative, driven, and enthusiastic. You have a strong understanding of federal government contracting, procurement processes, and regulations and you have demonstrated success in capturing federal contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in capture management, proposal management, or similar related experience or operations experience.
  • Proven experience navigating the government contract and proposal creation and submission process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and public sector industry expertise.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management and influencing skills.
  • Customer-focused; must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment.
  • Due to the nature of our US Government contracts applicants must meet eligibility requirements for US Government security clearance. *Must be a US citizen and eligible for a US Government security clearance.*

Salary

Salary range is based on national benchmark data of comparable roles, skills and experience level. Exact compensation will be based on individual skills and experience, and location which will be assessed during the interview process.

Salary Description

Salary range: $78,280 - $150,000 per year
