We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Capital Markets Architect  to join our Asset Management Architecture team.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: This role is be based in our London office with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role

Accountable for the Capital Markets architectural vision, strategy and blueprint, which will enable the Asset Management function to meet its objectives, which are core to the success of the wider Phoenix Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the architectural framework for Front Office systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. Work with other Group and AM architects as required to turn business problems into architectural design, drawing links between problems to reach common solutions.
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to integrate new technologies and platforms that enhance trading, portfolio management, and client reporting.
  • Innovation: Show an awareness and understanding of opportunities for innovation with new tools and technologies to improve business and colleague outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Front Office teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Act as a vocal advocate to communicate the Capital Market architecture strategy and blueprint within AM and the wider Group, as required.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all architectural solutions comply with industry regulations and internal risk management policies. Provide input and enforcement of applicable policies and standards, highlighting deficiencies and recommendations to ensure compliance where required.

W hat are we looking for?

  • Experience in a technology role within Asset Management or Financial Services
  • Strong understanding of Front Office functions, including Trading and Portfolio Management
  • Proficient in Architectural Design Principles
  • Experience of working with Aladdin, BlackRock systems
  • Knowledge of Capital Market products (including derivatives)
