Job Title: Business Development Representative
Location: Very flexible - we’re happy for folks to work WFH and lots of us do. We only ask that you come to our London office a couple of times a quarter for team strategy days and socials - but of course, you're more than welcome to come in as much as you like! (+ we're working a 4 day work week - Fridays off!)
Contract: 6 months fixed term contract (with the possibility to extend or move to permanent)
Salary: £27,500 - £30,500 depending on experience + commission + share options + benefits listed below

Position Overview:
Cuvva is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Business Development (BD) team. As a BDR at Cuvva, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential partnerships and digital channels to grow. You'll be part of a dynamic business development team working to expand Cuvva's market presence and drive revenue growth.
On a day-to-day basis you’ll:
- Develop and execute strategies for lead generation through research, networking, and cold outreach to potential partners.
- Qualify leads based on their fit with Cuvva’s services and their potential for long-term partnership success.
- Engage with potential partners via phone, email, and social media to initiate conversations.
- Educate prospects about Cuvva's innovative insurance products and services, targeting Car Dealerships, MOT centres and Car Supermarkets as examples.
- Work with key prospects to create tailored solutions, relevant to their needs and designed to maximise channel conversion.
- Work closely with the business development team to schedule and coordinate meetings with qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to optimise lead generation strategies.
- Continuously improve product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends.
You’ll do great here if you:
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role is a plus.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills.
- Are capable of working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Have a passion for innovative technology and a desire to disrupt the insurance industry.
It’s a bonus if you:
- Have Inside Sales, Sales Development, or Business Development experience within FinTech/Insurance.
- Have knowledge of and experience in the Automotive sector.
- Are familiar with tools like Salesforce.com, Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Lusha.
