We are searching for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales team to share the Dockwa product experience with Marinas all across the country.

As a BDR @ The Wanderlust Group you will:

  • Prospect and connect with marina owners & dockmasters within a given territory, through high volume outbound calls, with the goal of introducing them to the and Dockwa value proposition
  • Understand the key pain points of the marina’s business and ways Dockwa/ can help
  • Manage the entire business development process to sign partners onto and Dockwa while identifying and qualifying leads for our software sales team
  • Book as many qualified product demos as possible for your software teammate
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations and product teams to provide customer feedback across internal teams

We think the best candidates will:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a sales oriented position (BDR, SDR, etc...)
  • Competitive, driven, self-starters, with strong Interpersonal and persuasive skills at all levels
  • Excellent communicator who takes pride in describing complex concepts in simple, easy to understand terms
  • Love technology and talking about the ways it can enrich our lives & strengthen businesses
  • Love the idea of working in a small company that is scaling rapidly
  • Collaborative, consultative-oriented team player with a positive attitude

We take pride in growing our BDRs into Account Executives. In the BDR function you will work with exceptional sellers to learn and hone your skills as a seller.

The Wanderlust Group is a unique company and culture. A hybrid B2B and B2C business, we connect boaters to marinas and campers to campgrounds. Because we believe in the value of putting screens down and getting outside, we operate on a 4-day workweek and don’t cap vacation time. We take Mondays off, and prioritize focus and productivity Tuesday through Friday. We also care a lot about the marinas and campgrounds we serve. They are often small businesses playing an important role in the local economy around them.  That dedication carries through our work. Finally, because we are wanderers at heart, we are a remote-first company. This, and all positions, can be based anywhere in the United States.

Dockwa's mission is to grow boating. We do this by helping marinas acquire new boaters, deliver excellent customer experiences and become operationally efficient.

Our Working week

We have a four-day work week and don't track hours. Every Monday is a day off.
