What you’ll do

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will support the business to build, develop, implement and support the Go To Market Strategy for the country/countries. While expanding Mambu's footprint in the assigned territories, the BDM will seek support from the regional commercial organisation in various areas such as Marketing, Customer Success, Solution Engineering and Partnerships. The Go To Market strategy will be executed in close collaboration with the wider team by leveraging data driven strategic decision making..

What you’ll do

  • Ensure financial targets and business objectives are pursued and reached;
  • Contribute to annual New ACV target for the assigned markets based on the regional GTM Strategy by ensuring the right pipeline coverage ratio
    • Achieve annual pipeline generation target for market based on GTM strategy
    • Manage upsell and cross-selling opportunity to Mambu’s existing customers in the assigned markets
    • Manage the quality of pipeline by adhering to Mambu’s prospect qualification process
  • Contribute to growth strategy;
    • Researching and analysing the industry and market developments to contribute, define and own the go to market strategy with the MSD
    • Support sales pipeline build and support the MSD to meet the targets
  • Oversee and participate/drive daily operations and engage in customer activities;
    • Build and maintain an in-country network of key customers and influencers
    • Closely collaborating and aligning with marketing department to build targeted email campaigns
    • Closely collaborating and aligning with Partner Managers on target accounts to create opportunities
    • Attend & actively participate in country (prospect) marketing or partner events, industry conferences and customer visits as required
    • Triage MQLs and Partner leads and then determine whether they continue to engage with prospect or pass onto an AE if appropriate
  • Ensure the overall delivery and quality of strategic data insights;
    • Deliver qualified leads to the sales team
    • Ensure healthy lead to opportunity/contact conversion rate and accurate pipeline forecast
    • Develop regional and country market trends and competitor analysis (part of GTM)
    • Identify prospects by effective outbound to drive pipeline development plans in the short, mid-term and long-term and develop relationship with the key stakeholders in the target organisations
    • Nurture target accounts to sales-ready stage, by effective external stakeholder management and comprehensive account planning
  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional internal stakeholders, such as marketing, SE,  partner managers and customer success managers
  • Ensure data hygiene for the Salesforce and other sales and prospecting tools used
