Business Analyst

Scope and Purpose

• Supporting the Global Relationship Managers in the management and commercial development of the assigned Clients Portfolio, including any administrative task that can be assigned also in relation to  (but not limited to) the preparation and submission of Credit Applications;
• Supporting  the Global Relationship Managers in the origination of new highly valued market opportunities ( i.e.: Investment Banking and Structure Finance) for both existing Clients and Prospects (benchmarking, modelling, pitching)
• Favoring cross-selling goals
• Guaranteeing  the quality of the work performed, as well as compliance with deadlines, by intervening operationally in urgent transactions.
• Working in strict  coordination and proactively stimulating the strategic dialogue  with any other relevant Product or Relationship  Team  of the IMI CIB Division during the preparation of commercial plans and tailor made commercial pitches  and  during the origination and execution of the transactions
• Taking over any other task that can be assigned by the Global Relationship Managers and/or by the Head of Corporate Desk   expebcib

Required experience

3-5 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking

Competencies required

• Understanding of the main risks and opportunities associated with a specific Business Model
• Advanced analytical ability to analyze  financial statements, Business Plans  and perform market analysis;
• Exposure to and good understanding of full range of Investment banking and Structured lending products
• Ability to engage with professionals of different product and relationship teams

Required qualifications, skills and knowledge

• University degree and/or post-graduate degree in economics/Corporate Finance.
• Knowledge and experience in Corporate Finance (Financial Statements and Business Plans , Funding Options, LBOs, etc)
• Proficiency in PPT and Excel
• Proficiency in the use of Bloomberg
• Advanced English (spoken and written)
• Good communication skills
• Thoroughness and attention to details.
• Team-oriented and driven
