Our BuildOps team plays a key role in streamlining the tools and processes that enable production teams to iterate faster and more easily, so they can focus on what's important to them: the game.
You will participate in improving the BuildOps pipeline for various projects across multiple gaming platforms, including PC, next-generation consoles and mobile. You will manage the implementation of best practices to maintain an efficient, robust and reliable release and delivery process that meets the unique requirements of each project.
In this role, you will work closely with developers, testers and technical managers.
In this role you will:
- Ensure the robustness, reliability, efficiency, and reusability of the build system
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and quickly respond to incidents
- Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
- Support game production teams in milestone deliverables
- Anticipate build farm resources and software
- Provide client-oriented and service maintainer level of documentation
- Carry out any other related tasks.
What we are looking for:
- Expert with CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, OpenStack).
- Extensive knowledge of script language (e.g. Python, Groovy, Shell).
- Excellent SCM skills (Perforce, Git).
- Solid experience with Linux, Windows and MacOS.
- Autonomous and well-structured individual.
- Experience working in the video gaming industry.
Nice to have:
- Experience in building and deploying on platforms such as Steam or mobile (iOS, Android).
- Experience with configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Saltstack, Terraform).
- Experience with monitoring and logging stack (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Familiarity with Unity and/or Unreal Engine (or other engines).
