- $101,881 pa + 12% super + leave loading Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 6 of EBA5
- 9 day fortnight
- 72.5 hour fortnight
- Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.

About our opportunity
Our Buildings and Facilities Operations team manage over 1,800 buildings across the region including offices, community halls and public amenities. As a Building Services Engineer, you'll be providing Mechanical Engineering technical expertise and advice to deliver capital and operational projects and plans. You'll also be:
- Providing engineering, compliance and technical advice on mechanical and integrated services.
- Working across the Building and Facilities Operations branch, supporting the development of robust corrective and renewals work programs
- Reviewing and developing annual capital works and operational budget s using a prioritized and staged approach
- Supporting the analysis and development of reactive, programmed and predictive maintenance services
- Contributing to the development of the skills of the broader Buildings and Facilities Operations Branch.
About you
We're looking for your strong experience delivering engineering services in a customer focused context, working customers within our organisation and the public and community groups using our facilities. You'll also bring:
- Sound experience interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and information
- Demonstrated experience preparing written material and documents to support project and contract delivery
- Great skills developing and supporting team members
- Degree qualification in mechanical engineering recognised by Engineers Australia (required)
- Construction Induction Card competency (required)
- Current C class driver’s licence (required).
