This is an exciting opportunity to join the Behavioural Science and Innovation team and help shape the future of the department’s strategy. The Behavioural Researcher’s responsible for producing high-quality behavioural science work, based on strategies led by the Behavioural Lead. The type of work ranges from internal company improvements such as survey development all the way through to client data analysis and customer journey mapping.
The Team
The Behavioural Researcher will work closely with the Sr Behavioural Researcher and Behavioural Science Lead and CX team to ensure performance and growth can be demonstrated with our human behaviour work. You will also work closely with other departments such as Paid Media, SEO and PR to elevate campaigns using behavioural science. You should gain a deep understanding of the client’s business, goals and expectations in order to help craft a successful campaign.
Key responsibilities
- High Standards of Work: Produce great outcomes for clients with the support of the team
- Be able to apply the key behavioural frameworks that we use, being aware of which approach is most suited to the task at hand to be able to work efficiently and effectively.
- Proofreading and quality checking the output of your work and that of other non-behavioural specialist colleagues.
- Conduct primary and secondary research using mixed methods to understand the client’s audience and make recommendations to other marketing teams and the client based on this research.
- Support with the development of audience personas and customer journey maps, detailing recommendations for client campaigns across all digital channels.
- Contribute to the production of client decks and pitch decks, translating insights and recommendations into reports and actionable takeaways.
- Be a point of contact for research partners to ensure the briefing and delivery of primary research to the Reflect team.
- Contribute to the development of the department’s strategy and internal training materials.
- Maintain and grow relationships with clients and partners.
- Help generate client reports and be responsible for checking that they are factually correct.
- Successful Collaboration: Collaborating with the team and contributing to key Human Behaviour work
- Work closely with the Behavioural Lead to identify opportunities for our clients regarding audience insights, behavioural nudges, and research opportunities.
- Work closely with the CX/CRO team to understand the user journeys and make recommendations to client campaigns.
- Assist across the team in ad-hoc support for social media, content, emails, and research.
- Support all delivery teams (SEO, PR, Paid Media, CX) to embed behavioural science insights into their strategies and deliverables to elevate client campaigns.
- Upskill colleagues in understanding human behaviour and application to digital marketing.

- Proactively seek training and continuing professional development to stay up to date with both digital marketing industry developments and behavioural science research and insights.

What does success look like?
- Developing a great understanding of various behavioural science frameworks and their application to digital marketing to be able to make recommendations across any digital channel.
- Develop and deliver internal training on human behaviour
- Receiving positive feedback from team members and clients on meeting all Human Behaviour requirements
- Being at the forefront of the latest industry trends within the Behavioural Science world and keeping your knowledge up to date.
Your place in the agency and key relationships
- Report to and support the Behavioural Science Lead
- Working with CX team and Growth department
The package
Salary: £24k - 27k DOE
Annual Leave: 28 days (ex., Bank Holidays) plus Birthdays, Charity day and between Christmas and NY.
Flexible working, 4-day work week, hybrid working available for some roles
