About this role
The nominee is responsible for working with technical SMEs to guide the production of appropriate solution documentation including auditing standards and to support delivery and are accountable for ensuring the Solution will be in line with business expectations and fit within the overall technology roadmap.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation and deployment of audit IT solutions, working closely with development / project teams. Ensure that the solution is implemented correctly and provide technical oversight throughout the process.
- Supporting other team members in their dialogue with the business to Input into the creation of business cases and budgetary forecasts to project estimates as required.
- Assist in the preparation of deploying solutions including test plans, adoption plans and training support to end users
- Assist in developing functional specifications for use by system developers
Skills and experience
- A passion for Audit, with some experience operating in an audit associate capacity
- Ability to identify opportunities for technical efficiency and implement within agreed solutions
- Ability to interpret audit and assurance standards and interplay of the “what” and “why” with how technology can execute an outcome
- Demonstrable awareness of systems thinking (considering all aspects of a solution when deploying, such as security and cost considerations with a view to continual improvement)
- Familiarity with low/no-code technologies such as Alteryx, Knime, Power Platform, Power BI
- Strong English language (written and verbal) ability required
- Experienced in a wide base of technologies
- Experienced in accounting and specifically assurance related services
- Relevant IT vendor certifications highly desirable
Previous experience in technology roles, with solution design experience and a willingness to develop this further.

The salary range for this role is $82,000 - $90,000 AUD per annum inclusive of superannuation.
