Are you ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge video game development? Headquartered in Montreal, Behaviour Interactive is at the forefront of the gaming industry, crafting unforgettable experiences across PC, console, and mobile platforms. We’re a dynamic, independent studio of over 1200 passionate employees, with studios in Toronto (Behaviour Toronto), Rotterdam (Behaviour Rotterdam) and in the UK (Behaviour UK–North & South). Our day to day revolves around two core business focuses: Services and Original Games. Our Services team collaborates with gaming and entertainment giants like Disney, Sony, Activision, and Nintendo, delivering exceptional work-for-hire development and pioneering immersive location-based entertainment (LBE). Meanwhile, our Original Games unit pushes our creative limits, with our signature IPs, including the iconic Dead by Daylight. Join us and be a part of the future of interactive entertainment!

At Behaviour Interactive, we believe in giving everyone a fair shot. We embrace a diverse and creative environment where everyone is celebrated. We value folks of all ages, sex, ethnicity, colour, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, civil status, disability, or any other protected characteristics as per applicable law.

As an Associate Producer on Dead by Daylight, you will be part of the Support team, which includes tech, back-end programming, the build pipeline, and automated testing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the product strategy is clearly communicated to the teams, ensuring production and alignment are on track. Additionally, you’ll actively support the well-being of the team by collaborating with leads. Due to the nature of the teams, you’ll also contribute to bid and release strategies, working closely with the broader production team.

In this role you will:

  • In collaboration with the Producer and Directors, lead the teams in developing the game while respecting the framework, deadlines, and budget defined by the business objectives;
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the teams while maintaining close communication with the game management team to ensure that milestones and deadlines are met;
  • Work closely with the Producer, Team Leads and Project Managers to identify sprints and the quarterly goals of the game
  • Convert short and long-term development plans into concrete actions for all functions - design, technical, and QA;
  • Perform risk analyzes on a regular basis and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful development;
  • If necessary, manage relations with third parties (suppliers, partners, etc.);
  • Engage, guide and manage project managers to achieve their goals.

What we’re looking for:

  • Have already made the development of a game from pre-production to its launch as an Associate Producer;
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a manager in the entertainment industry;
  • Proficient in Jira;
  • Understand in-depth project management and software development methodologies;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Data-driven and proficient in evaluating the team’s Workload vs. Capacity;
  • Bachelor's degree or professional equivalence.
