Scope and Purpose

The Corporate Risk Solutions Analyst will support the Head of Corporate Risk Solutions and the Corporate Risk Solutions team in growing individual and team revenue through the origination of new business and maximizing existing revenue from current relationships and by virtue building the US Corporate Risk Solutions business. S/He will work closely with Corporate Risk in Milan and their equivalents in Trading & Structuring to aggressively drive revenue growth.

Specific activities:

  • Guarantee an entrepreneurial business approach in covering corporate clients with a derivative sales focus
  • Support the team with the pricing of commodities, F/X and interest rate derivatives by working collaboratively with bankers and traders
  • Assure information flow with the reporting line both in New York and in Milan's headquarters
  • Work with clients to assess and formulate financial risk management solutions
  • Work on special projects for the benefit of the Corporate Risk Solutions team.  These projects may include specialized management reporting, company reports, industry reports, marketing reports etc.
  • Work in a focused, ethical and compliant manner to provide the best execution and solutions to clients

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 - 5 years practical experience in investment banking / corporate finance

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  • Undergraduate Degree (BBA/BSc) in Finance, Business or Economics from an accredited education institution
  • Experience in commodity derivative sales important
  • F/X and interest rates derivatives important
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Additional language skills helpful - Italian is a plus
  • License required: SIE, 7 and 63
  • Ability to multi-task, well organized, rigorous with skills to prioritize heavy workflow
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a team in a fast moving, result-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and to take initiative
  • Sound understanding of banking products and U.S. corporate marketplace
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation (PowerPoint) skills
  • Excellent command of the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The salary range for this job offer would be $ 80.000 - 110.000
