Job Type: Permanent

Location: This role is based in our Edinburgh office, this is a hybrid role, with office-based working expected for the first 3 months, home working is supported once competent in role.

The role

Working with the Standard Life Financial Advice team, to directly support our clients in achieving their pension saving and retirement goals. With an objective to provide client facing administrative support services, in a professional and timely manner, for Advisers and their Clients. Support financial advisers with any technical research and maintain a good level of basic technical knowledge about the relevant products and services. Responsible for accurate inputs and updates to the Customer Relationship Management /Workflow Systems including capture of Vulnerable Clients, Know Your Customer, and the ID&V process. Own and manage the client's advice / guidance journey from the point of recommendation to completion, actively engaging with clients and providers, building, and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, internal stakeholder and external third parties.

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of Pensions/Savings products.
  • Experience in an Advice administrative/support role, desirable to have or be working towards CII qualifications.
  • Effective communication skills, in a telephony role.
  • Ability to effectively time manage and evolve to meet the demands of a changing working environment .
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to multi-task under pressure.
