The role

We’re currently recruiting for an Actuary to join our European Actuarial team to provide a professional service applying actuarial, technical & business knowledge to support the delivery of informed & effective decision making in order to deliver the company strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculation, analysis, and review of Solvency II capital resources & requirements in ORSA scenarios, annual business plan (incl. sensitivities), stress and scenario testing, new business results.
  • Contributing to the overall business planning, group-wide projects and strategic activities.
  • Contributing to the calculation and review of Solvency II capital requirements & balance sheet including analysis of change.
  • Developing, building and improving actuarial analysis of financial results and processes.
  • Producing papers and reports for senior management and executives as required.
  • Leading interactions with the group teams that are responsible for the delivery of the actuarial services.
  • Applying commercial understanding of the business to ensure the reasonability of actuarial results/analysis.
  • Ability to autonomously perform actuarial analysis and to come up with reasonable ways how to estimate impacts of non-modelled events.
