Who are we?

We want to be the best place that any of our 7,800 colleagues have ever worked.

We’re the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business. We offer a range of products across our market-leading brands, Standard Life, SunLife, Phoenix Life and ReAssure. Around 1 in 5 people in the UK has a pension with us. We’re a FTSE 100 organisation that is tackling key issues such as transitioning our portfolio to net zero by 2050, and we’re not done yet.

The role

You will play a vital role ensuring Phoenix meets its regulatory obligations, including supporting the business through change to deliver disclosures safely. Main responsibilities include consolidation of the balance sheet for the different Life entities within Phoenix Group and the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting templates. You can also expect to be involved in building and populating templates for ad hoc projects such as data collection exercises from regulators.

What are we looking for?

A successful candidate would have a good working knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements, in particular the Solvency II Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs). Understanding of the Solvency II balance sheets is required, UK GAAP and IFRS 17 knowledge useful. We are looking for an organised individual with keen attention to detail, the ability to analyse results and work accurately to tight timescales and someone not afraid to challenge things if they don’t look right. Stakeholder management and collaborative working are also key to success in this role.

We want to hire the whole version of you.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.
