Our employees can work both in the office and on the move. Only four days of presence in the office in Frankfurt-Niederrad per month are mandatory. In addition, a working time account enables a good work-life balance, and the weekly working time of 38.5 hours can be flexibly arranged between 6 am and 9 pm.

The role

  • Subject matter owner for selected Investment and/or technical insurance accounting topics (e.g. reinsurance)
  • Support of monthly, quarterly and annual closing tasks
  • analysis of P&L and balance sheet movements as well as commentary for senior management
  • preparation and coordination of year-end audit with external auditors and relevant internal departments
  • regular optimization of accounting processes

What are we looking for?

  • Business administration with major in accounting or similar education
  • experience in investment accounting and/or technical insurance accounting.
  • knowledge of IAS/IFRS financial standards
  • ideally SAP/FI experience and strong MS-Office skills, esp. excel
  • very good analytical skills, fast-learner, and problem-solving mindset
  • high degree of independence and structured way of working
  • fluent in English and (ideally) in German.
