Account Receivable Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

• Gather and verify customer invoices for appropriate documentation prior to deposits
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
• Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
• Take part in the month-end close of PanzerGlass in MENA and Asia
• Support in other accounting, such as cost accounting
• Supporting the auditor with correct documentation on a yearly basis
• Support the external reporting

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a colleague who is motivated, curious, reliable, proactive, and values collaboration. You thrive in an international organisation, have a good understanding of data, and take responsibility.

• Educational background from a business or finance-related program
• Minimum 6 years of Accountant experience; or more experience in a similar position with a company who have customers in Asia and MEA
• Strong analytical skills
• Have a strong sense of structure when working
• Sense of responsibility and able to follow tasks all the way
• Proactive and solution-oriented
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to keep company and partner confidences
• Experience with Microsoft Navision or Business Central would be an advantage
