As Gecko's Account Manager, your mission will be to build and nurture strong partnerships, prevent churn, and drive expansion with our key university accounts. The Role �*
In this role, you’ll be the linchpin in our customer success efforts, responsible for:
- Building Strong Relationships: Develop deep, trusted relationships with our university clients to drive long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Managing Accounts: Oversee a portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer needs are met and value is maximised.
- Preventing Churn: Proactively identify potential issues and resolve them to prevent customer churn.
- Driving Growth: Identify opportunities for account expansion and upsell additional services, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Enhance Product Adoption: Guide clients through the effective use of our products, helping them realise their full potential.
- Providing Support: Offer expert advice and support, helping clients achieve their goals with our products.
- Collaborating Internally: Work closely with other teams to ensure customer feedback shapes our product and service offerings.
What We Need From You �*
- Account Management Experience: Demonstrated success managing customer accounts, within SaaS, EdTech, or a related field within Higher Education.
- Relationship Builder: Proven ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Churn Reduction Skills: Experience identifying at-risk accounts and implementing strategies to retain them.
- Expansion Expertise: Track record of identifying and pursuing growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Passion for enhancing customer experiences and outcomes.
- Effective Communicator: Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Super Tech Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and able to quickly learn new software.
- Multitasker: Comfortable handling multiple accounts and shifting priorities.
- Calm Under Pressure: Able to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively.
- Continuous Learner: Eagerness to stay updated on industry trends and company products.
- Willingness to travel domestically in the US (and occasionally internationally).
