Behaviour Interactive is looking for a Senior 3D Environment Artist to participate in the development of Dead By Daylight. This versatile 3D Artist will be required to produce various game elements such as environments and props. The candidate will also be skillful in organic and hard surface modeling and has experience in the production of games on various platforms. The ideal candidate is autonomous and resourceful, with a keen eye for detail, and easily adapts to different styles. The candidate stays up to date with technological developments in the industry.
In this role you will :
- Create the various elements required by the production of the game environments including textures and materials;
- Ensure an ideal performance of the game by understanding and respecting the technical guidelines and by promoting the optimization of artistic elements, while achieving the desired visual quality;
- Communicate with other stakeholders in order to fully understand the needs and requirements of game design.
What we're looking for :
- Diploma from a recognized 3D school;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D modeling in video game development;
- Mastery of the modeling component of Maya software. Relevant experience with any other equivalent software will be considered;
- In-depth knowledge of Substance Painter and Designer, Z-Brush and Photoshop;
- Relevant development experience with Unreal;
- Understanding of PBR (physically based rendering) techniques;
- Ability to work in a team and to communicate, orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner in French and English.
