As a 2D-3D Artist at Ubisoft Montréal, you will play a key role in creating visuals that support the storytelling and staging of cinematics. You will guide the team to ensure artistic consistency while directly contributing to the production of images and animations that serve the creative vision of the project.
What you will do:
- Create images from a brief or concept while respecting the artistic direction of cinematics.
- Perform precise image processing in Photoshop.
- Research and propose visual references that fit the project's style and universe.
- Produce simple 2D animations in motion graphics (Mograph).
- Coordinate the team's deliverables to align with the initial brief and expected quality.
- Support the art direction in preparing and deploying briefs and style guides.
- Perform posing, lighting, and rendering in a 3D software or a game engine.
- Develop creative concepts from precise briefs.
- Provide constructive and precise feedback to improve the team's work.
Qualifications:

- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Tact and precision in delivering feedback.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Maya and/or Blender, After Effects.
- Knowledge of engines and tools such as Unreal, Anvil, Snowdrop, Vray, Substance, ZBrush, Premiere (an asset).
- Open-mindedness and curiosity towards AI-based tools.
