Vacancy: Welder / Fitter in Noord-Scharwoude, Alkmaar region | 40 hours

What does your role as Welder/Fitter look like?

As a Welder/Fitter at Demaco you independently manufacture vacuum insulated piping of various diameters. This concerns thin-walled stainless steel piping up to 3 mm. You will be occupied with welding and fitting, and also with reading isometric and technical drawings so you can fit and weld the piping. You will be given your own clean workspace in our production hall which is divided into three business units. Ultimately you will be trained broadly and deployable across all units: Plants, Science and Systems.

Quality over quantity. Demaco operates in the field of Cryogenics. A very specialized knowledge area carefully built up. It is the technology dealing with extremely low temperatures where, for example, liquefied industrial gases are used as refrigerants. Cryogenics goes hand in hand with high vacuum. The extremely low temperatures require extreme insulation and high vacuum technology makes that possible.
