About our opportunity

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated University Student to work in our Buildings and Facilities - Contracts and Compliance team!

The Asset Maintenance department is one of the largest departments within Council, maintaining and renewing essential community infrastructure across City of Moreton Bay. Within the Asset Maintenance department sits the Building and Facilities operations team that is responsible for the maintaining council’s building assets.

Working alongside professionals in this field, you will gain some great knowledge in the area of your studies as you assist the team in programming, procurement, data entry, contract administration and contractor engagement associated with building and facilities maintenance, as well as other tasks as required, while getting to site for asset condition evaluation. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn Council Processes and Asset Management functions.

Your enthusiasm and drive will be paired with exceptional customer service skills as we strive to provide a great experience for all of our stakeholders we interact with.

You will be currently enrolled in relevant university studies and be available to work a minimum of 21.75 per week.

Relevant studies will ideally focus on buildings and facilities maintenance, construction, property or real estate.
