Position
Job Purpose (Role Definition):
This role will support our UK and Ireland Sales team to deliver the company targets and objectives. Providing specialist support during trials and post sales integration within key customer accounts and new business opportunities. Leveraging relationships with internal teams and field based feedback to assist in the development of campaigns and act upon inside sales opportunities. This role will be key in developing brand loyalty and customer retention.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the UK and Ireland Team to achieve consistent results to deliver the Company’s business plan in terms of sales, gross profit, market presence and brand awareness of the Company’s products throughout the region.
- Align with the company values and have that in mind when promoting the core products into the Neonatal arena.
- Actively work on inside sales opportunities, working closely with Marketing, driving engagement through lead generation and appointment booking as part of specific campaigns
- Plan, recommend and execute strategies to convert accounts in hospital care to the use of Inspiration and distributed products in a rapidly developing market.
- Deliver product demonstrations both with physicians and hospital administrators, including EBME (electro-biomedical engineering team), neonatal nursing staff and procurement managers.
- Provide support, training and education to customers in conjunction with the Clinical and the Product Management teams to ensure that product demonstrations are effective.
- Support product/clinical trials for existing products as part of the sales process.Set up and assist clinical evaluations and trials of new modalities and modifications of techniques.
- Collaborate with the local Business Manager, line manager, the Marketing team and the appropriate Principal suppliers’ personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts to our own and distributed products.
- Provide after sales implementation product support and training provision to a competent level.
- Promote maintenance contracts and managed service contracts for the Company’s product range.
- Uncover and act upon opportunities to upsell and cross sell the Group’s portfolio of products and services
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to improve sales excellence, including Clinical, Marketing, Product Management and Customer Experience.
- In conjunction with the UK sales team develop and implement regional training workshops/seminars across the UK.
- Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and identify reference sites.
- Feedback key competitor information to Sales, Marketing and Product Management.
- Attend UK conferences/exhibitions as appropriate.
- Work with flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
- Maintain and update CRM system with all customer contacts and activities.
- Ensure compliance and regulations are met and all procedures within the QMS are adhered to.

Requirements
Experience and Qualifications Required
Mandatory
- A relevant qualification in Life Sciences or related subject and/or relevant experience gained within a medical device industry or similar.
Desirable
- Experience of neonatal medicine and/or ventilation applications.
- Experience training on active medical devices
- Experience in a customer facing role
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise will be expected.
- Willingness to travel up 70% of the time within UK and Ireland
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to various situations.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Valid Driving License
