Position

Job Purpose (Role Definition):

This role will act as the lynchpin between all the departments, to facilitate the delivery of our revenue targets, while analysing trends, improving processes, working cross functionally and acting as the sales enabler to deliver on both the revenue targets and sales excellence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Performance Analysis: Analyse sales data and trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the sales processes
  • Sales Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies in the sales process and implement strategies to streamline operations, improve productivity, and enhance overall sales performance. Managing the processes from opportunity through to delivery, including management of price lists and how discounts can be managed
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Work with the Sales and Administration team to develop accurate sales forecasts and plans to ensure that targets are met, and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Sales Technology Management: Develop, implement, manage, and continuously improve sales tools; automation, CRM systems, and other technologies to support the sales order process and enhance efficiency.
  • Sales Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular sales reports, dashboards, and updates to Senior Management to keep them informed of sales performance and progress towards goals. Working closely with Marketing, tracking the success of campaigns, pricing and messaging, collaborating on improving sales effectiveness, pricing and marketing strategies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Digital Optimisation, Regulatory and Customer Experience, to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts in support of overall business objectives/KPIs. Including, but not limited to, forecasting sales and supply chain needs, collaboration on production planning, ensuring targets are achieved through delivery of products month on month, collaborating to execute geographic expansion and product launches.
  • Internal Sales Advocate: Advocating the Sales Team and the Customers internally, working with cross-functional teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered to the customer’s expectations. Working to troubleshoot and resolve Sales and Customer challenges.
  • Tender Management: Manage and coordinate the preparation and submission process. Ensure all tender documentation is accurate, complete, and available to our global teams, offering support on tenders and the application process.
  • Sales Compliance: Working closely with our QARA team and Sales Management to ensure that compliance is met and maintained with various global regulations.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Mandatory:

  • Extensive experience in Sales Operations, preferably in MedTech/Pharma.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g., PPT, Excel, pivot tables)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Proven track records in project management (sales & marketing scope).
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills having developed and sustained meaningful professional relationships with relevant external and internal groups.
  • Experienced in change management

Desirable:

  • Experience launching and establishing Sales Operations in an organisation
  • Experience in Sales Operations within a regulated manufacturing business

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong presentation skills, both in-person and digitally, adaptable to different audiences.
  • A commercial mindset with excellent analytical abilities
  • Resourcefulness and ability to handle ambiguity
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and confident in creating Excel-based analyses for sales management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to quickly build relationships with various stakeholders
