**Duties/ Responsibilities:**
_Key Responsibilities:_
- **Product Backlog Management:** Prioritise and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with both business goals and the product roadmap.
- **User Story Development:** Define clear, concise, and actionable user stories, ensuring they bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Collaborate with Stakeholders:** Work closely with internal teams to ensure the product backlog is aligned with the overarching business strategy.
- **Product Analytics:** Track product performance, gather insights, and use data to inform product development decisions and future improvements.
- **Ongoing Product Support:** Assess the priority of bug fixes and feature requests, ensuring swift resolution and continuous product improvement.
- **Mentorship:** Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting a collaborative and nurturing environment.
- **Foster Team Cohesion:** Cultivate a positive, communicative, and supportive team atmosphere to encourage collaboration and shared success
**Key qualifications for this role are:**
- **Education:** A relevant degree.
- **Experience:** Industry experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- **Analytical Mindset:** Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to challenges.
- **Interest in AI & Technology:** Passionate about the latest advancements in AI, software development, and technology
**Team and communication:**
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to think outside the box and adapt to changing circumstances with flexibility and creativity.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments, fostering a collaborative team dynamic.
**In addition to the above, a couple of 'nice to haves' are:**
- **STEM Degree:** A background in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is advantageous.
- **Data analysis:** Proficiency in using analytics tools or similar to gather insights and drive decisions.
- **Python code:** An ability to read, write, run, and understand basic Python scripts would be a plus.
- **Help with product support:** Assist in addressing product-related queries and issues, providing support to ensure a seamless user experience.
_This position is a 4-day-per-week on-site role in Exeter - remote working not possible._
