Hey Honey, we're searching for a Managing Director to join our team and lead the next chapter of our exciting agency evolution and sustainable journey.
On the face of it, Hey Honey is a social-first creative agency that wants to do good in the world. “Great, what’s new about that?” you might ask. Well in reality, not much BUT what's driving us is a lot more than ‘doing good’, it's about impact and the progress we make in-line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Our mission is to connect brands to their communities through impactful creative that drives positive change in behaviour. The team is small, our work is global, and we believe results should be meaningful. From tackling global creative challenges to championing sustainability, our work needs to matter and positively impact our clients, consumers, communities, and the climate.
Since 2019, we've been working with the HQs of multi-brands companies like Crocs, JBL, Harman Kardon, and Persil, leaving our Honey mark on the landscape of social-first creative. And now with partnerships over the years with the United Nations to WaterBear and Armendangels - we’re edging towards a client list that represents our conscious creative mission. We have work to do…
But why the need for a new Managing Director, you might ask? Well, it's simple. We're a close team fueled by a shared commitment to do great work that matters. So we need a leader who not only understands the power of conscious creativity but embodies it in their life and work. We're searching for someone who can integrate our mantra across our operations – from leading the agency to deliver our two-year plan to inspiring and empowering our team, clients and partners to be more conscious.
In short, we're looking for more than just an MD, we're looking for an inspiring leader who wants to make a positive impact and change the advertising landscape.
Goals:
1. The Managing Director needs to help us solve a problem. We have been evangelising the UN SDGs and activities but not delivering on our commitment to them internally and through our work for clients externally. It’s proving a challenge to take our clients on this journey - we need someone to help us punch through.
2. The goal in the next two years is for us to win 3 major social-first / conscious creative projects/retainers to the value of €500k each. Clients and work that reflects our conscious creative focus and UN SDG commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a visionary leader to drive the agency forward in alignment with our mission, values, and the UN SDG framework
- Execution of our 2-year One-Page Plan to achieve our business goals and objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities that support our mission/vision
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the agency.
Team Development and Management:
- Inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
- Mentorship and line management of our leadership team to grow and develop
- Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and creativity.
Financial Management & KPIs:
- Deliver the annual business plan with full support from the Board of Directors
- Work with CFO on daily basis to ensure full understanding of revenue, costs and the impacts on the business
Brand & Business Support:
- Support our Partnerships Director to cultivate and maintain stronger relationships with more senior stakeholders that we currently have a connection with
- Support the Founder to uphold the agency's reputation as a leader in social-first/conscious creative and represent us at industry events
