Position: Field Service Technician with Welding Skills | Full-time | Noord-Scharwoude (near Alkmaar)

Are you an enthusiastic technician with welding skills who can independently or with colleagues manufacture complex vacuum-insulated piping and wants to strengthen our field service team? Discover the opportunities at Demaco!

What you will do as a Field Service Technician:

• You are jointly responsible for performing all assembly activities on sites (worldwide) for a wide range of equipment and/or installations, during assignments ranging from a few days to several weeks away from home.
• You oversee the technical guidance of technicians and the assembly of parts and components.
• You carry out all common cryo-related work such as welding, pressure testing, helium leak testing, evacuating/vacuuming, etc.
• You help determine the concrete approach and the safest and most efficient methods, solutions and working procedures.
• You represent the company at the customer and report to the Manager Operations who provides guidelines.

• You are innovative, reliable and solution-oriented with a pragmatic attitude and good prioritization skills.
• You can work independently and have a healthy sense of humor.
• You have an MBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Werktuigbouwkunde) and hold a VCA certificate.
• Dutch (written and spoken) is required; English is also required. German is a plus.
• You are resourceful, accurate and take initiative; you will fit well in our projects organization and internationally operating SME.
