What are you going to do?
As a Digital Design Engineer and client lead, you will play a crucial role in designing, testing/implementing and optimizing FPGA-based solutions and be a part of the team that helps to grow and professionalize QBayLogic. We are looking for somebody who will come into the office at least 2 days a week. While we realize everyone has their preferences and specializations, you are expected to work across the board and not shy away from technologies unknown to you.
Key responsibilities:
- Client lead
- Digital Hardware Development Project Manager
- Collaborate with (international) teammates
- Developing digital hardware designs
- Taking a design from its requirements to a design that is tested and synthesized
- Integrating with existing CI/CD infrastructure

About you!
Who are you and what do you bring?
- BSc/MSc/PhD in a relevant field
- Experienced with managing hard- or software design projects
- Experienced in managing clients
- Proficient in Haskell/Clash/Python or strong in Verilog/VHDL/Python
- Knowledge of Vivado/Quartus/Yosys
- Experience with version control and continuous integration/testing
- Knowledge of Cadence simulation flow and synthesis is a pre
- Good on-line/verbal/written communication skills
- Good command of the English language

3. Second interview
If you are still enthusiastic after the first interview and we believe you are a good fit for QBayLogic, then we would like to invite you for a second round. In this round, we will delve deeper, and your technical knowledge will be tested. This interview will also be longer than the first round.
4. Starting at QBayLogic
If the second round is positive for both parties, then we would like to offer you a job. We will invite you again to discuss this and determine together when you can start.
