Seeding Justice emerged as Oregon’s foremost funder of social change organizing. Founded with a clear mission to support grassroots groups, we have grown into a trusted partner for community-led initiatives. Based in Portland, our organization is dedicated to empowering local communities through grantmaking, organizing, and capacity building. Our work is rooted in a deep commitment to enabling small beginnings to blossom into powerful movements for justice.

Our team is composed of over 20 dedicated professionals who bring passion, skill, and a strong sense of commitment to social justice. We operate from a blend of remote work arrangements and in-person collaborations, ensuring that every voice is heard and every talent is highlighted. Whether working from our Portland base or from remote locations, our team leverages modern digital tools to collaborate effectively and maintain a clear focus on our mission.
