MS Society
The UK's leading charity for people affected by multiple sclerosis.
Who we are
The MS Society is the UK's leading charity supporting people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS).
Founded in 1953, the organization has grown significantly and now supports over 150,000 people living with MS in the UK. Headquartered in London, the MS Society operates a network of local groups. It provides a wide range of services and support to the MS community, including funding research to stop MS and improve treatments.
What we do
We focus on providing support, information, and funding for groundbreaking research to stop MS. Our activities include advocacy at all levels of government, community support through local groups and online forums, and funding scientific research to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for MS. We offer resources and services to help people manage their condition, including emotional support, financial advice, and health and social care information. Our MS Helpline provides essential support to those affected by MS, offering advice on managing symptoms and accessing services.
