Born in 2010 in Germany, Komoot helps people find, plan, and navigate authentic outdoor adventures. Our apps and platform power millions of hikes, rides, and runs with reliable turn‑by‑turn voice navigation, smart route planning, and offline maps. As one of Europe’s leading outdoor navigation and route‑planning platforms, our community of outdoor enthusiasts shares highlights, photos, and tips to inspire the next adventure.

Our team

We’re a remote‑first company with colleagues collaborating across countries and time zones. We work where we’re happiest and most productive—at home, in a coworking space, or from one of our offices—and we meet several times a year in great outdoor locations to connect, learn, and ride or hike together. Based in Germany (HQ in Potsdam), we hire for curiosity, craft, and a love of nature. If external sources differ on details like headcount, we rely on our careers page as the source of truth.
