If/When/How
If/When/How advocates for reproductive justice through legal services and policy transformation.
Who we are
If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice is a national nonprofit organization based in the United States dedicated to transforming the law and policy landscape to ensure all people can determine if, when, and how to create and sustain families with dignity. Founded with the mission to actualize sexual and reproductive well-being, we provide legal services and advocacy to support individuals in making informed decisions about their reproductive lives.
What we do
If/When/How offers comprehensive legal support and advocacy for reproductive justice. We operate the Repro Legal Helpline, a free and confidential service staffed by attorneys, which provides legal advice on issues such as abortion, youth access, birth justice, and more. Our team also engages in policy advocacy to reshape laws that impact reproductive rights and builds a national network of lawyers and advocates dedicated to this cause. Through our work, we strive to eliminate coercion and punishment in reproductive decision-making.
